Iridescent silver floated over the highly textured surface of this Wavelength Rhythm painting, finding its way into the crevices and accentuating the high places. Blue and silver has always been a favorite combination of mine.
As I create the shapes with my special acrylic medium, the pattern that emerges usually has something to do with the music I am listening to.
Life is made up of wavelengths, after all.
The identifying number of this painting is 2016DAWR042IS.
It measures 12″ by 12″ and is first richly textured with my special medium, then painted on a panel with highest-quality acrylic mediums and pigments. My techniques include pouring, squirting, brushing, wiping, dabbing and watching the paint flow through the textures I made: messy but the result is worth it…and which is why each painting is utterly unique.
Please remember that everyone’s monitor or device shows the color differently. You can see in these photos how the light changes the paintings!
