Framing Our Dimensional Abstract Paintings for You

Each Dimensional Abstract painting will be professionally framed in our gallery so that you won’t have to go through the often-expensive and frequently annoying process of taking it to a picture framer, and we know this original, unique work of art has been framed correctly (some custom framers use dubious materials and techniques and poorly-trained employees, something we learned the hard way over the years!). All costs of framing are included in the price of the painting, for simplicity’s sake. Framing will also protect the painting during the shipping process. You will be able to hang it on your wall as soon as you take it from its shipping box! On each side, a sawtooth hanger has been attached, so that you can hang it in any direction.

Only the highest quality picture framing materials are used to ensure your painting will bring you enjoyment for many years. We have selected classic wood mouldings with simple finishes that quietly showcase the complexity of the artwork. Also, their narrow profiles allow for a collection of these paintings to be hung quite close to each other, providing visual impact.

You will notice that each painting is shown with two different frames on its presentation page; the choice of Classic Black, Classic White, or Classic Natural Wood is yours, even if the white or wood frame is not shown on the painting you wish to purchase. Send us an email and we’d be happy to take a photo of the painting in the frame that was not shown on that painting and let you know ASAP. We have to say, though, that a Classic Black frame is like the “little black dress” of custom framing, in that it goes with everything!

These paintings do not require glazing. They are created with professional-quality acrylic mediums and pigments which are guaranteed to last indefinitely (with the usual care a collector gives a fine original work of art); plus, their deep and dramatic textures would be lost if they were put under glass. Please dust them frequently with a soft brush, and do not spray anything on them to clean them, not even water. By their nature, acrylics do seem to attract dust, but their surfaces are tough and resilient, with normal use and care.

Please note that we do not frame a painting until it has been sold, because, as stated above, you choose which of the three finishes we offer. That means we may take three to five days to ship your painting to you. Of course we will be sure to keep in touch with you throughout the process! If this is a gift, you might consider having us mail the painting directly to your recipient to save time, especially if he or she lives a distance from you.

NOTE ON ENERGY TEXTURE SCULPTURES ON STRETCHED CANVASES: Added to our website in December 2021, and created in a technique that does not require framing! Each comes with a special type of metal hanger that slides securely over the wooden stretcher bars with the other end serrated like a sawtooth hanger. It does not need to be attached to the stretcher bar, meaning your canvas can be hung from any direction! Quite the nifty invention, we think! This means that as soon as we receive payment, we will be able to ship your Energy Texture Canvas to you! Care instructions: as above, dust with a soft brush on a regular schedule. Do not spray water or any type of cleaning fluid on them. Probably best to not vacuum them unless you’re extremely careful and have a soft brush accessory on your cleaner.
