This is one of my Ocean Patterns paintings, which were first inspired by aerial views of islands and sand bars in the oceans around the globe. But the patterns could be from other wonders of the sea, everything from fish scales to corals and much much more in between.

The identifying number of this painting is 2016DAAL021OP.

It measures 12″ by 12″ and is first richly textured with my special medium, then painted on a panel with highest-quality acrylic mediums and pigments. My techniques include pouring, squirting, brushing, wiping, dabbing and watching the paint flow through the textures I made: messy but the result is worth it…and which is why each painting is utterly unique.

Please remember that everyone’s monitor or device shows the color differently. You can see in these photos how the light changes the paintings!

This is an original, one-of-a-kind painting by Donna McVicar Kazo, copyright 2016. It, and these photos, may not be reproduced in any form without her express written permission.
