This is one of my Ocean Patterns paintings, which were first inspired by aerial views of islands and sand bars in the oceans around the globe. But the patterns could be from other wonders of the sea, everything from fish scales to corals and much much more in between. For instance, there was something about this particular painting that reminded me of the giant kelp forests of the Pacific…

The identifying number of this painting is 2016DAAL016OP.

It measures 12″ by 12″ and was first richly textured with my special medium, then painted on a panel with highest-quality acrylic mediums and pigments. My techniques include pouring, squirting, brushing, wiping, dabbing and watching the paint flow through the textures I made: messy but the result is worth it…and which is why each painting is utterly unique.

Like all of the paintings in this series, it can be enjoyed from any direction, and it comes framed with sawtooth hangers that let you choose what way it will hang on your wall. It looks good in the classic black or crisp white finishes you see here. It’s your choice! After purchase of painting, please then email adiona (at) yahoo.com to let us know of your frame selection.

$375 includes professional quality framing and FREE shipping (but at this time we only ship to the lower 48 states, sorry).

Sales tax is extra.

Please remember that everyone’s monitor or device shows the color differently. You can see in these photos how the light changes the paintings!
